Party plan is one type of direct selling and is the most lucrative and fun way to sell. You simply display the jewellery and take orders! SELL TO INDIVIDUALS
Selling to individuals is a great way to supplement Home Party sales. Seeing how great you look in Silpada Jewellery will no doubt have your bank teller, dry cleaner and grocery clerk asking you, "Where did you get that great jewellery?" It's often as easy as that! Ladies love jewellery, and they'll love ordering more from you!
How would I start my business?
Your Sponsor will begin your training as soon as you get signed up. Invite family, friends and co-workers to host Home Parties to help you get started. You can also host a Grand Opening in your own home to get additional bookings for your new business.
What if I have no sales experience?
It might surprise you to know that most of our successful Representatives have never sold anything before. As Silpada's Co-founders, Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh, say, "If you can wear our jewellery, you can sell our jewellery!"® Seriously, it's that easy!
How much time will it take?
You customize your business to your individual goals and desires. You may want a fun diversion in your already busy life, or you may choose a career path with unlimited earning potential. Part-time or full-time-the choice is yours! Your Sponsor can help you customize a plan that's right for you.
How will I learn what I need to know?
We know you probably weren't born knowing how to be a successful Silpada Designs Representative, so we provide the Silpada Learning System to help you get off to a great start. However you like to learn-through print, audio or video-the Silpada Learning System has got you covered. You'll also receive coaching and encouragement from your Sponsor, your Upline leadership team, and Silpada's Corporate Office.
How can I sign up?
Complete and sign the enclosed Retail Sales Representative Application-Agreement. It outlines the Terms and Conditions of our business relationship. This Application-Agreement must be filled out, signed and returned with your Sign-up Kit Order Form and Independent Representative Information Form. Be sure to include Sponsor information if you are being sponsored by a current Silpada Designs Representative.
How much can I expect to earn on my personal sales?
You earn an immediate profit of 30% based on your personal retail sales. Depending on your goals and the amount of time you are willing to commit to your independent business, you can earn $750 a week by holding just two average Home Parties per week, working just 6-8 hours. That's an outstanding $90-125 per hour! Based on our industry-leading, national Home Party average of $1,250 retail (nearly twice the direct selling Home Party industry average), that comes up to about $3,000 a month.
Would I be an employee of Silpada Designs?
No, Representatives are Independent Contractors and they are responsible for filing their own Federal and Provincial/Territorial Income Tax. Independent Contractors may be eligible to take advantage of the tax savings of running a home-based business.

This distribution system relies on the services of independent sales Representatives, eliminating the need for a retail outlet for the product or services. Is Silpada affiliated with a charity?
Since 2004, Silpada Designs has been a proud sponsor of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). As a result of our partnership with JDRF, we instituted a fund-raising campaign called "Polishing Off Juvenile Diabetes" which helps support the JDRF mission to find a cure for juvenile diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
For every Silpada Polishing Cloth sold, Silpada Designs, in conjunction with our independent Representatives, will donate $1.00 to JDRF. The Silpada Designs 10" x 8" cotton fabric cloth retails for $5.00 and is specially treated and designed to polish Silver, Gold and Platinum jewellery.
